Cetyl Tri-Methyl Ammonium Chloride also known as Cetrimonium chloride is a cationic quaternary ammonium compound.

It is a topical antiseptic and surfactant commonly used in hair conditioners and shampoos, as a conditioning agent and de-tangler in Hair conditioners.

The maximum concentration should be no more than 2.5% 

It is a clear colourless liquid.
